Where it began - Starting as a Real Estate Salesperson in 1981 covering the Mount and Papamoa, Matt went on to become an Area Manager, then Regional Manager for a National Real Estate Company – one he credits for honing his business skills and instilling a solid grounding. He opened his own agency in 1990 at Papamoa East, before the area gained recognition, then spent time in the Waikato from 1997 to 2006 continuing to expand his experience in the real estate industry through business partnerships, management and as a Salesperson. Being at the coal face is his passion, though , as there’s so much satisfaction and enjoyment in helping people to buy the home they desire and to also help homeowners to get the best price possible when it’s time to sell. My answer is, that from the day marketing hits the street, I aim to have an offer within the first four to six weeks.” Every property? Of course not. The market, with all its vagaries, will always affect the dynamics. Matt’s role is to understand the market; know what’s selling, where and how long. That, and knowing what buyers want. Fixed prices - Matt prefers them. Auction has its place and he cites uniqueness, necessity and market moods as deciding factors. Those aside, Matt will offer a price range as a guide – and say why. Guide is his operative word; because even Matt can be surprised. He tips an historic Papamoa beachfront sale as his most satisfying highlight. Not only did he work to some exacting vendor requirements and a nervous reserve; he secured Papamoa’s first half-million dollar plus sale – to a buyer who hadn’t even entered the house. Pat Wineera is that individual in Matt's team and she looks after all of the administration, marketing, social media and video production. With a 'working life' background in all aspects of administration and an insight into the Real Estate industry since 1981, when her husband Matt started his Real Estate career, is an advantage any Real Estate team would welcome. Pat continually looks for ways to improve our systems and marketing software as well as keeping herself up to date with continuing education in the ever changing technology arena. Pat is our 'go to' person.

Hello, Just a big thanks to Matt for putting in so much effort to sell my house, a hard one to sell but Matt never gave up and went the extra Mile always helping me with builders reports and any other issues that came up . Matt is a "Non Pushy' Person

I engaged Matt Wineera to market and sell my house in Parkvale, Tauranga earlier this year as I was moving overseas. I've bought and sold a number of homes over the years but have rarely found an estate agent as professional as Matt. He never gave up (in fact he slogged) and sold my house at a price I was happy with. He's a very "non pushy" person and made me relaxed during a really stressful time. Positive, Confident & Re-assuring

Matt called at my house, by arrangement ,to discuss " Sales Possibilities", and from Day One he was Positive, Confident and Re-assuring". Sure enough, as Matt had Predicted, not only did my Property attract a lot of attention, but with Matt's VERY PROFESSIONAL "Steerage", resulted in a Pre-Auction "Signed-Agreement " , well above the Reserve, and at Auction, Matt was able to "Up" the final Sale Price to $2200K above the Reserve, which we had previously agreed upon. -B.Graham
